POSITION Overview:
Commercial Metals Company is searching for a Project Manager with demonstrated experience with construction of fast-track industrial facilities.
The Project Manager will be responsible engineering, procurement, project, and construction management of medium (>$10M) to large (>$100M) industrial projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND
Responsibilities:
Work with operations team to define scope Assemble and manage a team of engineers, operators, consultants, suppliers, and contractors to execute projects Develop budget costs estimates, project schedules, engineering standards and construction procedures, negotiate contracts, oversee permitting, manage construction, etc.
as required to insure completion of projects on time and within budget Provide leadership in all matters relating to project and construction management Overall responsibility for safety, cost, schedule, and quality of projects Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors Report project status to operations management Additional responsibilities may be assigned, and requirements may vary from time to time EXPERIENCE &
Qualifications:
5-10 years' experience working on fast-track projects Demonstrated experience and/or skills working on multiple projects of varied degrees of complexity at the same time Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills A team player and goal orientated Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.
) EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Technology or Bachelor's in Project Management, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering from an accredited engineering college or university Job Type:
