Main Purpose of Job:
To perform regular product evaluations, record inspection results, and recommend improvements to the production process.
To excel in this role, applicants should demonstrate great attention to detail with excellent technical and math abilities.
Duties:
Climb a ladder and use a flashlight to inspect stacks of pallets that are 7-8 feet tall Lift and flip pallets that weigh 75
lbs.
Use a Sawzall to remove nails as needed Develop and conduct a variety of tests on inbound materials from vendors and outbound products for shipping Ensure that all the quality check procedures put in place by the company are followed during every production phase Create comprehensive documentation for quality issues and note the corrective actions Educate production team on quality control issues and work with departmental managers to improve overall company safety and product quality Create process checklists and coordinate quality inspections with departmental managers Requirements:
Must possess excellent communication skills Proven history of understanding industry safety standards and quality expectations Strong understanding of raw materials and the manufacturing industry Must be able to work in fast-paced environment Good written and verbal communication skills Strong sense of time organization and urgency High school diploma or equivalent.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
