Summary:
SCH is looking for a Marketing Manager who will be responsible for planning, development and implementation of the Organization's marketing, public relations, and customer service activities and training.
Leads the Marketing Committee and coordinates activities with functional leadership.
Identifies and pursues approved fund-raising opportunities through grants, public events, and solicitations.
Role &
Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations plan that enhances the Organization's image within the marketplace by facilitating internal and external communication which cultivates a high level of customer service and patient satisfaction, Implement and chair a committee with a focus on marketing trends leading to gaining insight customer service needs and opportunities.
Serve as the SVMS point of contact for public and community forums, events, and meetings as appropriate.
Responsible for social media communications, websites, online bulletin boards, and local media including radio, TV and print materials.
Manage social media sites for comments, responses, or other forms of follow-up.
Plan and manage SCH participation in health fairs, community events and at least one annual SCH sponsored event.
Ensure all external and internal communication provides accurate information as well as has consistent branding & site identification.
Manage internal SCH newsletter and communication forum Works with executive leadership, department directors & managers, representatives of the public media, potential grantors/funders, and the general public to establish communication flow of information Provides direction on to leadership on marketing, communication, and public relations.
Develop and manage approved budget Participate in the grant process including researching new sources, building relationships with funding sources, and working on the application process.
Coordinate patient satisfaction survey program.
Other duties as assigned by CEO or executive leader designee Essential Skills:
Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications, and public relations activities, Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational, and personal sales skills, Experience developing and managing budgets.
Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, making presentations, and negotiating with media.
Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
Computer literacy in work processing, data base management and design software.
Commitment to working with cross-functional teams.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
Experience writing and developing grants.
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing, communications or public relations or related field preferred, Graduate degree in related field or comparable years' experience is desirable.
Experience working with volunteers is desirable Working Conditions:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
