We are seeking an experienced detail-oriented Property Manager to fill the dual role of Floating Property Manager/Recertification Specialist.
This Property Manager will be responsible for processing all annual recertifications for the agency.
This is a full-time position.
Expected job duties are below:
Process all Annual Recertifications units in a timely manner.
Calculate rents for annual recertifications.
Meet with residents to identify households with income reporting discrepancies and make rent-adjustments as needed.
Ensure compliance with HUD and other regulatory requirements related to the property's funding sources.
Utilizing EIV and correcting discrepancies.
Maintain resident files according to compliance standards.
Manage workload, ensure all re-certifications are completed in timely manner.
Review monthly recertification list with supervisor to ensure timely completions.
Ensure detailed notes are place in the computer system and resident files.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
2 years experience processing Annual Recertifications Must have knowledge of HUD/Public Housing policies and procedures Detail oriented and the ability to operate on a deadline driven schedule Possess strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills Have a valid driver's license.
Knowledge of basic office software:
Microsoft Office and Excel.
Competencies Must be able to work independently or with little oversight and use independent judgement.
Strong time management skills and ability to effectively prioritize Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Excellent organizational skills.
Adaptability Pro-active - Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively - Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws governing property management
