Program Support Assistant (Clinical Support Team)

Incumbent serves as a technical assistant in Medical Administration Service (MAS).
The employee will perform technical work to support the administrative functions of the facility.
Duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
-Prepares and maintains VISTA reference manuals.
-Develop training protocols and provide training for individual users and operators in the medical center.
-Uses VISTA workload reporting system and develops templates to access data.
-Provides a variety of reports in data validation and quality assurance activities.
-Designs data management reports to produce unique and productive reports that are used by the Chief of MAS for various decision making purposes.
-Independently resolves operating problems in conjunction with MAS ADPAC.
-Accumulates and analyzes problems encountered by the various users to determine trends.
Provides trend data and proposed solutions to Chief of MAS and supervisor.
-Provides training for new and existing employees working with VISTA MAS software packages.
-Arranges training sessions as necessary for groups and/or individual employees.
-Monitors all new entries to the patient file with social security number changes, name changes, and inconsistencies to patient file data.
-Works with MAS supervisor to formulate and direct the development of administrative policies for MAS VISTA packages associated with workload capture, patient demographics, and outpatient treatment.
-Prepares a variety of correspondence, reports, and other documentation, which may include statistical data, graphics and spreadsheets.
-Maintains files, policies and directives in accordance with established procedures.
-Assists in coordinating matters involving telephone and/or written communications on scheduling problems/concerns.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
