Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (Outpatient Therapist)
You will provide services to Veterans, their families and the interdisciplinary team regarding evaluation, identification and treatment of psychosocial concerns and psychiatric diagnoses in the outpatient behavioral health setting.
, Your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide outpatient behavioral health services and crisis response to veterans with mental health disorders.
Assess and treat complicated psychosocial problems of veterans.
Independently identify high risk patients and implement appropriate safety protocols.
Provide crisis intervention services.
Provide thorough assessments to determine the pre-existing problem to recovery and/of follow-through with recommended treatments.
Case management with collaborative effort to meet the agreed upon goals for a Veteran's recovery needs.
Provides referral to programming to address homelessness, hospice services and other available services as required.
