Duties:
This position falls under the Surgical Service.
The Optometrist duties include, but are not limited to:
Planning, coordinating, and exercising professional judgment in initiating and implementing administrative and clinical decisions.
Must be able to exercise independent professional judgment in diagnosing the full range of complex optometric conditions as well as planning and executing the necessary treatment programs to meet complex and frequent changes in the treatment objective.
Responsible for examining, diagnosing, and performing specific optometric treatments for conditions of the vision system.
Responsible for examining vision, eye, and related structures to determine the presence of vision anomalies, diseases, and/or other abnormalities; treating eye conditions by prescribing and adapting spectacle lenses, contact lenses, optical aids, etc.
, referring patients to other healthcare professionals for further diagnosis and treatments.
Specialization in geriatric eye care.
Perform other duties as assigned including, but not limited to appropriate disposition of consultation and patient encountersMay be required to rotate through three Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) to provide optometry services (Fort Detrick and Cumberland, Maryland and Stephens City, Virginia) on an as needed basis.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
